Today I was up at the Sidney duplex and met Aaron and Vaughn. Vaughn and Aaron then proceeded to install the soffit chutes and other blockers and vent protectors and other essential items. They worked smoothly and quickly. I appreciate that they also explained to me how the assembly would work with respect to air flow. It was truly a pleasure learning how the vent system operated and seeing how efficiently they worked. In summary, their work was excellent.

Just a quick status report for you … Your crew (I think that it was “Mike and Tanya” from memory?) arrived at 7:45 am last Thursday morning and got straight to work shortly after. They were all done and cleaned up in a few hours and they did a fabulous job on the insulation work. They were friendly and courteous and extremely professional. Our family purchased our first home in Victoria and knew right away it would require a significant amount of TLC. It was necessary for us to shop or an experienced, reliable and trustworthy contractor when were faced with the reality of insulating the exterior walls of a 1935 character home. Although many of the other projects around our property were completed on you own; the commitment of time, specialized machinery, and need for experience dictated that we have the exterior wall insulation job done professionally.

Alpine Insulation was, by far the absolute best possible choice in the Victoria, BC area that we would consider working on our home. When comparing other estimates from competing contractors our Alpine Insulation representative was more thorough, methodical, and informative during their visit. Their significant experience was clear. Alpines estimator walked through our home, inspecting and explaining the requirements to properly address our insulation needs when considering what was already working well and what needed to be improved upon.

Our decision was made to go forward with the project of “blown-in” exterior wall insulation. The Alpine Insulation crew arrived promptly on the scheduled date, displaying strong reliability. Alpine recently installed insulation throughout our home. The service from the management was very professional; and the installers were very knowledgeable and skilled. We were in your office yesterday to pay our bill and I wanted to tell you how pleased we were with the job. On Thursday “John” and “Jay” arrived from Alpine Insulation. They laid down their drop sheets, examined the attic, and began preparations (installing the soffit chutes; taping the heat lamp box, insulating the chimney area, etc.) They then brought in their hose and “John” went up into the attic and began “pumping” in the blown insulation. In two hours or so, it was done.

They cleaned up very well; they rolled up their drop sheets from the floor, leaving no mess at all. Just before they left, they glued about a two-foot bat of insulation on the access panel lid hatch, and just before 3:00 PM, they were gone. We were very impressed with these two fellows. A job well done.
